The Slic pin is used in Singing Tree Rope Wrench by ISC to make the device mid-line attachable. You can install your line without having to fully remove the slic pin, thus eliminating the risk of dropping and losing the pin. This pin works for the ZK2 only. It will not fit the original version of the Rope Wrench.

We use a slic pin for the safety pin on our crane hook ball. A safety pin is required so the latch doesn't get opened by a branch or something and the Slic Pin is very low profile and gives greater assurance that it won't get tangled in the rigging or the limbs.
