Description
The Unicender climbing tool is a combination ascender/descender invented by Morgan Thompson and manufactured by Rock Exotica. The Rock Exotica Unicender has long been the most flexible tool for tree climbing due to it’s use with both single rope technique (SRT) and doubled rope technique (DdRT). The Unicender utilizes unique friction plates for minimal friction so the user can advance easily with the most efficiency and virtually no “sit back,”—and descending is just as simple. Compatible with rope sizes 11-13mm, the Rock Exotica Unicender attaches conveniently mid-line—just one more of the many benefits elevating the Unicender above any other tool on the market.
